Born and raised in San Francisco, Michael Melendy has been an avid content producer since 2004. His cinematography and photography talents have taken his around this globe with his  appearing on CNN, OWN, and, The Travel Channel, as well as numerous national print publications. In 2005, he launched the TV and film division for rolling out magazine, bringing the company to new digital heights by gaining over 50 million unique views online in the 1st year. He spearheaded a team of editors, videographers, and journalist helping to make, one of the most influential websites on the web. In the run up to the 2008 U.S. presidential election, Michael also
produced “The Striver’s Guide”, a publication created to Toyota’s particular specifications, down to the original content, and photography. The
publication was created to help Toyota bridge the gap between their company and prospective African American consumers. He holds a Video Production Associate degree in Film and Electronic Media from The Art Institute of Atlanta and is currently regularly instructing photography courses to under privileged youth in and around Los Angeles, CA.
